Very nice bit if your horse has a ‘good’ mouth. Low leverage shanks combined with a medium control mouthpiece create a very balanced bit overall. Copper causes the horse’s mouth to salivate, which helps keep it soft and supple to the rider.

Copper is a soft metal – check for signs of excessive wear before each use. Mullen relief mouth for even pressure across the bars and tongue and eliminates the nut cracker effect.

Stage B is all about transition, with the introduction of leverage and curb pressure. Short Shanked bits and Half-Gags comprise Stage B.
