Pessoa Heritage Pro Saddle w/ AMS and XCH System. This saddle is Oakbark in color with a 16.5" seat. Saddle features the AMS Panel System with standard panels consisting of neoprene layer and the ability to be re-flocked to fit your horse. Read more below. This saddle also features XCH or Xchange system which allows you to change the gullet size of your saddle. Currently has the Wide gullet in the saddle but sold with original medium gullet. Read More Below. Saddle is finished with covered leather that adds that grip you want in a saddle. Saddle has a standard flap with a padded knee flap, front knee and thigh blocks. The Heritage pro saddle nicely balances the rider for that all around use and jumping saddle. Stamped on billet keeps 468486. Sold with Original Medium Gullet, Original Saddle cover, and stirrup leathers (no substitutions). Gently Used, in Very Good Condition. Saddle has little to normal wear on seat and flap. Traditional style wool – and synthetic – flocked panels can bunch up, causing hot spots and uneven pressure. As time goes by, this panel requires constant adjustments and re-flocking because of shifting experienced during use.
The AMS® System has been designed to allow a perfect union between horse and rider. This system eliminates hot spots by dispersing any pressure variances of the flocking within the panels, thanks to the exclusive pressure stabilizing neoprene layer.
The neoprene layer provides a soft, consistent layer to support the rider’s weight on the back of the horse. This layer will absorb impacts and distribute pressure evenly for maximum comfort and freedom of movement for your horse.
Saddles with AMS® panels can be re-flocked and fitted to your horse, just like traditional wool flocked panels.
XChange System- Versatility and Technique
All of the Pessoa® saddles are available with the interchangeable gullet X-Change® System. The rider can modify the width of the tree using any of our interchangeable gullet plates and a screwdriver. It is really that simple.
This system does not change the integrity or look of the saddle. A saddle with a medium gullet plate installed fits and looks exactly like a standard medium fixed-tree saddle.
